WELCOME

Welcome to St. Terrence Website. We are glad you have visited  us on Web. The Parish community of St. Terrence comprises of 2400 Catholic families in Alsip, a west suburb of Chicago, IL. Even though the size seems quite large, it’s a close knit community and we feel like it’s a family. We seek to be a place where people know one another, form a welcoming parish family, and live out our baptismal call to follow our Master and Lord. We wish that you join our Parish family at St. Terrence.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

In addition to our weekend and daily Masses, we have a regular Rosary group who pray the Rosary after Morning Masses. We have whole day of Eucharistic adoration on Fridays in Lent and Advent from 9:15 am to 7:00 pm concluding with a Benediction. Confessions are heard from 4:00pm to 4:40 pm on Saturdays. Normally during Lent we have a 3 day parish mission, where  parishioners spend time to listen and reflect on God’s word.

MINISTRIES

Every baptized Catholic is called to the mission of Jesus. Ministries enrich St. Terrence  Parish. It gives every parishioner to do what Jesus commanded us to do, to imitate his love for everyone. Parishioners volunteer their time for each ministries that fo the ministries that exist in the parish. We try hard to enhance it with new programs, recruit more volunteers for its outreach. Please check the website for a list of ministries.

SERVICES

St. Terrence is an active parish community of dedicated parishioners who strive to live out their call to discipleship. Our weekend liturgies are well attended with uplifting music and focus given to prayer and reflection. We have lot of ministries where parishioners give their time and talent to make a difference in this world.  As disciples of Jesus we seek to live our lives for him who was crucified for our salvation.
